展現英語風采(cai)，訴說微笑力量。5月18日下(xia)午，山東(dong)職業學院第(di)一屆英語文化(hua)節(jie)開幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)題英語演(yan)講比賽在(zai)圖書館行(xing)政(zheng)樓東(dong)報告(gao)廳舉行(xing)，學院副院長(chang)郭鵬出席開幕式并致辭，基礎部(bu)(思(si)政(zheng)部(bu))主(zhu)任賈明斌、團委書記(ji)王偉(wei)、國際交(jiao)流中心主(zhu)任呂子泉蒞臨比賽現場。
副院(yuan)長(chang)郭(guo)鵬在(zai)致辭中指出，隨著我們(men)國家高(gao)鐵國際化戰略(lve)的推進實(shi)施和(he)學(xue)院(yuan)建(jian)設(she)優質(zhi)高(gao)職院(yuan)校(xiao)的改革發(fa)展，培養(yang)高(gao)素(su)質(zhi)應(ying)(ying)用(yong)型人才目標中學(xue)生英語(yu)應(ying)(ying)用(yong)水平凸顯重要性，此次隆重舉辦我院(yuan)第一屆英語(yu)文化節目的就是為了進一步突出英語(yu)學(xue)習的重要性，鍛煉同學(xue)們(men)的英語(yu)口語(yu)及實(shi)際交(jiao)流應(ying)(ying)用(yong)能(neng)力(li)，營(ying)造學(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的英語(yu)學(xue)習氛(fen)圍，為打造特色學(xue)習型校(xiao)園進行的一次非常有(you)益和(he)有(you)意義(yi)的嘗試。
本屆英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)文化節(jie)歷時一個月，由基(ji)礎部、團委和(he)國際交流中心共(gong)同舉辦，是響應學院建(jian)設國內領先、國際先進的(de)優質(zhi)高職院校目(mu)標，通過開展英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)演講(jiang)比(bi)賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文歌曲大賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)配(pei)音秀(xiu)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文海報(bao)比(bi)賽(sai)和(he)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)角(jiao)等系列主題活動，旨在營造人(ren)人(ren)學習英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)的(de)濃厚氛圍，提升大學生的(de)學英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、說(shuo)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)的(de)水平，活動內容新穎(ying)豐(feng)富，貼近(jin)學習生活。
經過前期的(de)(de)(de)(de)預(yu)賽，最終有來(lai)自(zi)各系的(de)(de)(de)(de)15位選手站上(shang)了決賽的(de)(de)(de)(de)舞(wu)臺，他們圍(wei)繞“The Power of Smile”為主(zhu)題展(zhan)示英語演講(jiang)風采(cai)，他們的(de)(de)(de)(de)演講(jiang)或慷慨激昂、情感熱烈，或述說細膩、娓娓道來(lai)，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)(de)現場互動(dong)問答(da)，贏(ying)得了臺下(xia)觀(guan)眾的(de)(de)(de)(de)陣(zhen)(zhen)陣(zhen)(zhen)掌聲。經過激烈的(de)(de)(de)(de)比拼，最終張嘉琳、袁嘉賢(xian)、周穎、曲昌、高(gao)雪菲5位同學(xue)榮獲了此(ci)次(ci)比賽的(de)(de)(de)(de)一等(deng)獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
